Understanding Results & Giftedness
Generally, an IQ of 130 or above (top 2% of the population) is considered gifted. However, giftedness is more complex than a single number and can include:
- Exceptionally Gifted: 145+ (top 0.1%)
- Gifted: 130-144 (top 2.2%)
- High ability can also be shown through specific cognitive strengths even if overall IQ is lower
Yes, creativity can be measured using scientifically validated tools like the Torrance Tests of Creative Thinking (TTCT). These assessments evaluate:

Absolutely. Testing can identify:

Twice-exceptional refers to students who are both gifted and have a learning difference (such as ADHD, dyslexia, or autism). Assessment Process & Logistics
A complete WISC-V assessment typically takes around 1.5 – 2 hours (depending on the individual). Briefly:
- Testing session (90 – 120 minutes)
- Comprehensive written report provided within 1 to 2 weeks
- Ensure your child has had adequate sleep and a good meal before testing
- Explain that this is not a school test – there are no “right” or “wrong” answers
