Testing simply means revealing a person’s capabilities by putting them under strain and this is often challenging.

Testing simply means revealing a person’s capabilities by putting them under strain and this is often challenging. Within an educational setting, testing is used to measure how much of the assigned materials students are mastering, how well a student is learning the materials, and how well a student is meeting the stated goals and objectives.

 A standardised test is any test that is administered and scored in a consistent manner to ensure legal defensibility, often used in education. Psychometric tests are standardised tests used to measure individuals’ mental capabilities and behavioural style. At Mind-Path, we test two main areas in education and employment; intelligence and creativity.

IQ Testing

Intelligence quotient (IQ) is derived using standardised psychometric testing. This is a quantitative and objective approach in viewing the mental ability of an individual, in terms of cut-off points on intelligence tests.
